Republican City Councilman Vincent Ignizio met in City Hall yesterday with Utah-based Parvus Corp., which provides hardware for the transportation, military, homeland security and medical device industries. The company's representatives outlined their wireless service, which they have been marketing nationwide for the last six months... Despite the hype, a quick poll of South Shore commuters showed many value their precious travel time for sleep and leisure... But Regina Tenore, who spends two hours getting home from work each night, said she prefers to read, sleep or listen to her i-Pod... "The MTA has to worry more about getting us more buses than getting the Internet," she said... The MTA could not immediately be reached for comment...
