* India - Punjab to introduce insurance for bus passengers
Ropar,Punjab,India -PunjabNewsline.com (Mohali-Chandigarh,Punjab), by BAHADURJIT SINGH -7 June 2007: -- Punjab government would introduce insurance scheme for the passengers traveling in the buses in the state, disclosed Punjab Minister for transport Master Mohan Lal while talking to media persons here today after conducting sudden checking of buses from Chandigarh to Ropar Thursday... He said that during the checking of buses several passengers had made various constructive suggestions for improving the functioning of the transports system. One of the suggestions was to introduce insurance scheme and he had accepted this suggestion on the spot...
