Public Warned - Australia - Major change to bus routes
Adelaide ,Australia -Advertiser Adelaide, by MICHAEL OWEN -30 Jun 2006: -- Sweeping changes to Adelaide bus routes will be made within months... A draft plan of the changes obtained, shows dozens of routes will be discontinued, some replaced and others significantly modified... Torrens Transit runs 75 per cent of Adelaide bus routes... In the draft plan, more than 30 of the company's 150 routes have been targeted to be "discontinued" or "cancelled"... The managing director of Torrens Transit, Neil Smith, predicted some of the changes would be controversial and cause disruption to commuters...
