Classes Canceled - USA - After almost 100 buses vandalized
Norristown,Pa,USA - Associated Press -May 08, 2006: -- The Methacton School District in Montgomery County canceled classes for about 5,300 students Monday after discovering that someone had vandalized the tires of 98 buses - almost the entire bus fleet... When transportation workers arrived for work at 5:15 a.m., they found that the valve stems of the right front tire of each bus had been removed, Superintendent Jeffrey Miller said. The deflating tires broke the clips attaching them to the rim, causing an estimated $2,500 damage, he said...
