TORONTO,Ont,CAN -Reuters -May 8, 2006: -- New Flyer Industries Inc. expects to increase its production by about 30 percent as the manufacturer of heavy-duty transit vehicles received $183 million in new orders... The company said late on Sunday it received orders for 416 new buses, with the bulk of the orders coming from Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in Washington, DC... New Flyer said the orders include a wide range of vehicles, including 35-foot, 40-foot and 60-foot buses with diesel, diesel-electric, compressed natural gas and electric trolley propulsion systems...
