Glasgow,Scotland,UK -Glasgow Evening Times, by Graeme Murray -20 July 2006: -- Mothers are put off using public transport by inconsiderate passengers, poor access and a lack of facilities, a survey revealed today. Hostile and unhelpful transport staff, who make mothers feel they are "a nuisance" also topped the list of complaints, with 60% of mums saying bus drivers were the worst offenders... The survey, by Mother & Baby magazine and Transport 2000... The new research showed 72% of mothers thought public transport was difficult to use with babies in tow and 69% said they were made to feel their child's crying annoyed other passengers.
