Lane - UK - It's the end of the road for
London,England,UK -Bexley Times -20 July 2006: -- Street furniture on the Welling bus lane was removed this week, as traders claimed back the controversial stretch of road... On Monday, councillors took to the lane in Welling High Street to remove road markings and signs after the council decided to remove the lane on an experimental basis... The red tarmac will remain and new signs are being erected. Bexley council will also install pay-and-display bays and yellow lines... During this time, officers will carry out traffic surveys to see what effect the bus lane's closure has, before making any permanent changes...
