Test - Pakistan - 60 percent franchise bus drivers fail
LAHORE, Pakistan -Daily Times -Dec 07, 2005: -- Almost 60 percent drivers of franchised bus services including Daewoo Transport company have failed in driving tests administrator by the city’s traffic police and the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) held in Qaddafi Stadium on Tuesday... Most of the drivers were unaware of the traffic signs they were shown before the driving tests... Almost 100 drivers of various transport companies were called on the first day of the driving test campaign but only 24 participated. Of the 24 drivers, only nine passed the test. The remaining drivers have been asked to take the test again...
