According to Phung Dang Hai, Director of HCM City Transport Cooperatives Union, investment in the buses is up to VND3.6bil ($225,000), raised from cooperative members... The new buses are 12m long, 2.5m wide, 4.18m high and have 89 seats, allowing the carriage of up to 120 passengers. They are manufactured by Transport Construction Mechanics Joint Stock Company, a member of Vietnam Automobile Industry Corporation...
