Warn - USA - Alarm systems on area school buses
Bristol,TN,USA -Bristol Herald Courier/WJHL NewsChannel 11 -16 Nov 2005: -- Changes are being made on school buses in Johnson City to make sure no child is left behind... Tennessee law requires new buses in use since July to have an alarm system... It sounds when the bus is turned off. The driver must walk to the back of the bus to deactivate it... Johnson City installed the systems on 57 of its old buses, which is not required by law. It is the only system in our area to fit older buses with the alarms...
