Warsaw,Poland -From Warsaw Business Journal -31 Oct 2005: -- Automotive company Jelcz, which is owned by the Zasada Group, recently liquidated its truck division and is desperately trying to save its bus-manufacturing unit... "We are conducting initial talks with foreign companies. More detailed negotiations will be possible starting from the middle of 2006," said Andrzej Kalisz, president of Jelcz. Any new investor will probably mean large-scale restructuring in the firm. "This year should bring about an improvement [of financial results]... This will not be a spectacular result. I would define it as zero plus," said Kalisz. This should be achieved thanks to the selling of 155 buses, which is almost 37% more than in 2004...
