Manila,Philippines -GMANews.TV, by LBG -27 March 2010: -- More Share As the Holy Week exodus began Saturday, authorities inspected bus terminals in Metro Manila to ensure safe and comfortable trips for passengers... Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman, Alberto Suansing, reminded public utility operators against overcrowding and overloading... He said he and his men will continue safety checks on all vehicles heading for the provinces... Suansing said they will particularly inspect the conditions of the buses, such as tires, brakes and steering mechanism... And likewise reminded bus operators they should shoulder the insurance of passengers, as public utility buses have personal passenger insurance coverage...
