Saying costs are higher than expected to fuel and maintain smaller vehicles
Salisbury,MD,USA -AP -Mar 22, 2010: -- An Eastern Shore commuter bus service is cutting the number of vehicles using biodiesel, saying costs are higher than expected to fuel and maintain smaller vehicles... Riggin Johnson, director of the tri-county Shore Transit service, says diesel is more cost efficient for larger buses, but there isn't much difference between gasoline and diesel for smaller vehicles... Johnson says four new small buses delivered over the last six months run on gasoline and smaller buses ordered in the future will have gasoline engines, which are less expensive to maintain...
