* India - KSRTC acquiring 'Mark III' Volvo buses soon
Mangalore,India -The Mangalorean.com -Dec 7, 2007: -- Fly-by-wire technology is here, and the drivers of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation’s (KSRTC) new generation Volvo buses are in for more driving pleasure. They will not be required to keep their right foot on the accelerator pedal any longer... For, the next generation buses being procured by KSRTC by the month end, will come with “auto-pilot” facility. The sources at KSRTC said the corporation had placed orders for about 50 buses which are known as “Mark III” buses...
