Manchester,UK -The Northwich Guardian (Northwich,England,UK) -4 Dec 2007: -- Greater Manchester's transport leaders have called for the Government's Local Transport Bill to be strengthened to provide passengers with a high-quality bus network in the future... A resolution calling for changes to the bill received unanimous support from all three major political parties at a Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority meeting on Friday... The Local Transport Bill sets out plans to create a more integrated transport system so that local bus, train and tram services complement rather than compete with each other.
