Some passengers decided it was safer to walk home, and rang the police... As a result, Sarah Smith (28) was arrested at the wheel of a Judd's Travel Ltd bus after parking up at the Queensgate bus station in Peterborough...
* New Zealand - Driver in bus crash may have fallen from his seat
Auckland,New Zealand -TV3 News -22 Apr 2007: -- It is thought the driver of a tourist bus that plummeted down a steep West Coast bank yesterday morning may have fallen from his seat... Two of the 44 tourists on the Kiwi Experience bus were taken to hospital after the accident on the Franz Josef Highway... Passengers who emereged covered in blood have reported the driver fell from his seat, while possibly trying to retrieve a mobile phone... The driver, who the company says is experience, has been interviewed by Police and conditions were fine at the time...
