BUSES' SALES * Pakistan - Karachi to have 250 Indian CNG buses
Karachi,Pakistan -Internews/Peninsula On-line (Qatar) -April 21, 2007: -- Pakistan’s largest city is importing 250 CNG buses from India as the first batch of the promised 8,000 CNG buses experiences a delay. The 250 vehicles are expected to be on Karachi’s roads by July 2007... Executive District Officer (EDO) Transport and Communication Muhammad Athar says that a private company had proposed to bring these buses by March 2007, but a “little delay” cropped up as the strategy for set ting up CNG filling stations and the incentives of the federal government were in the pipeline...
