BUSES' PURCHASE PROSPECT
* Canada - *Translink approves new buses
Langley,Canada -CKNW (Vancouver,British Columbia) -Apr, 18 2007: -- The Translink Board has approved a 30 million dollar bus fleet expansion plan for 2008, as well as a 34 million dollar expansion of the Skytrain operations and maintenance centre... 45 buses will be added to the fleet by the end of next year... The new buses will help expand the Hastings 95-b line, service upgrades for the South Fraser, and improvements to ease over-crowding on busy routes... Vancouver Translink director Suzanne Anton is recommending the addition of even more buses, which will come before the board next month...
