St. Petersburg,FL,USA -The St. Petersburg Times, by RITA FARLOW -April 13, 2007: -- Fifteen students and a teacher's assistant from Bear Creek Elementary School were taken to local hospitals Thursday morning after two school buses collided... The accident happened at 61st Street S and First Avenue S shortly after 8:30 a.m., when a bus driven by Malvenae Lloyd, 48, rear-ended a bus in front of hers driven by Don Williams, 70. The injured students were riding on both buses, which were headed to the school to drop off students... St. Petersburg police cited Lloyd for careless driving. She has been temporarily reassigned by the school district, pending the outcome of an investigation, said school district spokeswoman Andrea Zahn...
