* China - Brilliance wins Russian contract for 80,000 minibuses
China -Automotive World (UK)/Reuters - April, 2007: -- Brilliance Automotive, the partner of BMW in China, has signed a US$1.3bn contract for the export of 80,000 minibuses to Russia, largely for use by government bodies... The Jinbei model minibuses are expected to be exported over the next five years... Brilliance recently started the export of the first of a planned 158,000 self-branded sedans for European markets over the next five years...
* India - Tata Motors to Supply 500 CNG Buses to Delhi
New Delhi,India -Green Car Congress (USA) -13 April 2007: -- Tata Motors has won a contract from the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) for 500 low-floor non-AC CNG-fueled buses... The order came as a result of a global tender floated by DTC. This is the single largest order for fully-built, low-floor buses received by Tata Motors to date. Tata Motors was the first in India to launch modern, low-floor and semi low-floor buses in 2005...
