* Thailand - Bus plunge leaves 17 dead
Chiang Mai,Thailand -The Bangkok Post (Klong Toey,Bangkok,Thai) -19 Jan 2007: -- Seventeen people were killed and 33 injured in a road accident after a tour bus, taking teachers from Chanthaburi province on a study tour, took a bend too fast and plunged into a river in this northern province's Doi Saket district yesterday. Thirteen of the teachers were killed on the spot, while the other four died on the way to hospital... Police believe the driver, Kamron Bunrat, 48, was not familiar with the curves... * USA - School buses collide, injuring 12
Indianapolis,IND,USA -ABCX7 (Chicago,Ill) -Jan 19, 2007 - Two school buses taking children home collided just after leaving a middle school on the northeast side of Indianapolis today... Ten children and two bus drivers were taken to area hospitals after the accident about three p-m. near Fort Harrison State Park... Hodgin says the buses were carrying students home from Fall Creek Valley Middle School when one of the buses hit the other one from behind going down a hill about a half-mile from the school...
