* India - AMTS to add 1,003 buses to its fleet
Ahmedabad,India - The Ahmedabad Newsline -Jan 20, 2007: -- Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) will introduce 1,003 new buses in the next financial year when it will have added more routes to the existing ones as part of route rationalisation. An AMTS release issued on Saturday the next AMTS budges also provides for setting up of 130 decorative bus shelters to take their number to 230. Of the 1,003 buses being brought in, 342 will be diesel buses, 611 will be CNG buses and 50 low floor buses...
