Sales - India - Tata Motors gets Rs 55 cr order for buses from Congo
Mumbai,India -Business Standard -June 14, 2006: -- Tata Motors has received an Rs 55 crore order from the Congo for revamping the urban transport system of Kinshasa, the capital city... The company has delivered 228 buses to the country... In 2005-06, Tata Motors exported over 6,000 buses, up 45 per cent over the previous year... It has exported buses to Africa, West Asia, Russia, Ukraine, Malaysia and the Saarc countries... Tata buses have a strong presence in many African countries such as South Africa, Senegal, Algeria and the West Asian countries such as the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar...
