Study - USA - Lynx has chance to fulfill wish list
A study offers ways for the system to get more money, such as a dedicated tax

So do the people who run Lynx. But their recurring dream dissolves each year because there's no money to pull it off. Local politicians are reluctant to raise the annual allowance they give the transit agency to operate, and that's barely enough to maintain the current level of bus service... But now there's a push for Lynx to break its dependency on grants handed out by federal, state and local governments and instead finance its dreams through its own piece of the sales tax, a cut of rental-car fees or some other dedicated source of funding...
