Sales - India - Volvo buses eye 30% growth in its sales
Bangalore,India -business-standard -Dec 14, 2005: -- Volvo, buoyed by increasing orders on Tuesday said the company expects an increase of 30 per cent in bus sales. The company sold 300 units in 2004 in a market of about 600 units. It has a market share of almost 50 per cent in the air-conditioned luxury bus segment... He added that the expansion of the AC luxury bus market, building corporate brands for state transport services, increased passenger expectations and a range of conceptual changes in the product have fuelled the demand for Volvo buses...
