NEW BUSES FLEET * UK - Airport purchases new, environmentally friendly transfer buses
Luton,London,UK -Holiday Extras, by Tony Hill -1 Dec 2008: -- Luton airport have showed their commitment to the environment and reducing their impact by replacing four of their airfield buses with innovative new models... The COBUS 3000 buses are now used to transfer passengers between terminal and aircraft. The buses are designed with an aluminium body and a smaller engine, this makes for a light and fuel efficient engine that meets the latest requirements for emission testing... The aluminium construction of the buses will also avoid corrosion and extend the lifetime of the vehicles which, when combined with the maintenance reducing management system, means for a vehicle that's easy to look after...
