SECURITY * Canada - Tightened on STC buses
Saskatchewan,CAN -CBC -December 1, 2008: -- Saskatchewan's provincially owned bus company says it will use on-board cameras, satellite tracking and new security procedures to make bus travel safer... Under a set of new measures that went into effect Monday, Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC) will allow drivers to restrict how much luggage can be carried onto the bus. It will also give drivers the right to inspect passengers and their carry-on bags for banned items like weapons... People who refuse a search will not be allowed to board...
