A bus conductor has no authority to ask a passenger to get down from the bus if he does not have the exact loose change for the ticket

Hyderabad,India -The Times of India, by Srinath Vudali -4 Nov 2008: -- ... But most conductors in city buses brashly ask a passenger to get down or force them out of the bus in such situations. This when with most difficulty the commuters manage to get into public transport buses... "Bus conductors cannot ask any passengers or force them to get down the bus. They are expected to be polite and not brash. The conductors should mark the balance amount on the ticket and give it to the passenger anytime before he disembarks," APSRTC executive director (Greater Hyderabad) P V D Jayashankar Prasad told TOI...
