Ahmedabad,India -The Times of India, by Paul John -1 Oct 2007: -- Aware of the Amdavadis’ general disregard for traffic rules, news laws would be in place soon to ensure an unobstructed run for buses on the ambitious Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS), which is going through some last-minute fine tuning... Besides engaging experts to study almost 1.5 lakh existing Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) commuters to study their usage patterns, authorities concerned are examining prevailing traffic laws in Bangalore, Pune and Delhi to work out a foolproof system for BRTS...
