* Nine new buses
Goochland County, VA,USA -glnd.k12.va.us/Linda Underwood Blog -August 12, 2007: -- We are very grateful to the Board of Supervisors for helping us with the purchase of nine new school buses. We needed five buses to continue our replacement cycle, which attempts to replace buses once they have been in service for thirteen years, and four buses for our anticipated growth... It hasn't been simple - but we will have our buses. Seven will be delivered this week and the final two by mid-September... * Bendy Buses Around Town - In response to overcrowding, the City introduces brand new line of buses
Santa Clarita, California, USA -KHTS AM 1220/hometownstation, by Nicole Ryan -11 August 2007: -- The City of Santa Clarita has just introduced a new kind of public transportation, a "bendy" bus. These 60 foot, green and blue vehicles have a joint in the middle, and can hold up to 100 passengers safely... These buses will be help the city avoid overcrowding, and city coordinator Alisha Celestine says that these buses will come in handy in the fall... Although some of these buses are already on the road, most will be introduced throughout the year...
* Chaparral students to get more buses

Chávez -12 Aug 2007: -- Students attending the new Chaparral High School in Chaparral, N.M., won't have to worry about walking too far to school, Gadsden Independent School District superintendent Cynthia Nava said recently... The New Mexico Public Department of Education has approved a "hazardous walking condition request" to provide additional busing for students who live inside the two-mile guideline set by the department. A request for additional school bus equipment and three additional buses were also approved...
