New Buses * Australia - Takes to Brisbane streets
Brisbane bus commuters today welcomed the first of 30 air-conditioned articulated or "flexi-buses", which will come into service around the city over the next 12 months
Brisbane,Queensland,Australia -The Brisbane Times, by Tony Moore -June 18, 2007: -- Each articulated bus can take 61 seated passengers and has a maximum capacity of 87 passengers... The buses are fuelled by compressed natural gas and are likely to be used on key Brisbane runs, including the South East Busway... It is the first bus of its kind introduced to Brisbane since 1991, although other new types of buses have been added...
