Portsmouth,England,UK -The Portsmouth News, by Alex Bentley-17 May 2007: -- Cost-cuting transport chiefs have launched a massive shake-up of bus services across Portsmouth... In a bid to save £490,000 the council will axe 11 services and replace them with five super routes based around four central locations and their surrounding areas... Bus bosses have promised more than 1,080 passengers who use council-subsidised routes every day that the majority of roads will still get a service – though there may be less buses running...
