Araja -8 May 2007: -- The World Bank is extending a $1-million incentive to boost a clean and efficient transport system on Edsa, the Metro Manila Development Authority said yesterday... MMDA Chairman Bayani Fernando announced the bank’s move to spur the agency to implement the organized bus route scheme, paving the way to lower air pollution... Fernando said with the international recognition of the route scheme, about 3,000 passenger buses plying the 24-km. Edsa would contribute a lot to improve the quality of air in the metropolis...
