Beaumont,Texas,USA -KFDM-TV News, by Scott Lawrence -May 1, 2007: -- The Texas House has passed a bill mandating seat belts on school and charter buses in Texas, and the Texas Senate will now take up the legislation prompted by the 2006 charter bus crash involving the West Brook girls soccer team. The measure requires 3 point lap and shoulder belts on all new school buses purchased after 2010, and on all buses, including charters, after 2014. ..Labels: safety
