Sanctions * UK - To curb bullying on school buses
London,UK -The Guardian, by James Meikle -May 7, 2007: -- Pupils who persistently misbehave on school buses face bans on using them or exclusion from school under government guidance to be issued this week. It will back such sanctions against bullying, vandalism and rowdiness along with safety measures such as closed circuit television cameras, adult escorts and special training for drivers... The advice comes days after West Sussex county council announced a review into bullying, including behaviour on school transport, after inquest allegations that 11-year-old Ben Vodden hanged himself after being picked on by fellow pupils and the driver of his school bus...
