Australia -Australasian Bus & Coach -17 April 2007: -- One of the most discussed topics around the traps is the standard of the nation's school bus fleets. Without doubt some of the buses are getting very old indeed... Notably the South Australian and Western Australian fleets need updating urgently but none more perhaps that the massive Queensland fleet of ageing school buses. Many of Queensland's school buses are approaching that magic 30-year mark. And we all know what that means, off the road without any further discussion.....

The residents depend a lot on the Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) bus services which connect them to Chennai... Unfortunately, the frequency and the number of buses to and from the suburb have not kept pace with the growth of the suburb...
