Reading,England,UK -icBerkshire, by Lucy Thorne -Feb 15 2007: -- A fleet of pollution-free buses could be on Reading's streets by next year - reducing the town's carbon footprint and giving it the nation's greenest transport service... Reading Buses hopes to begin testing an ethanol bus as early as this summer on the popular Tilehurst-Earley 17 route in a bid to cut its carbon emissions... If the trial is successful the fleet could begin carrying its 20 million annual passenger load diesel-free by next year...
