Edmonton,Alberta,Canada -The Edmonton Sun, by FRANK LANDRY -Jan 31, 2007: -- Edmonton’s reputation as having some of the oldest buses in Canada will soon be history... City council has approved a plan to replace its aging GMC diesel buses by the end of 2008 with modern New Flyer vehicles at a cost of $400,000 each... The 218 out-going vehicles were manufactured between 1972 and 1982, and have an average age of nearly 29 years...
