DANGEROUS BUSES * Fiji - Buses Only Meet Minimum LTA Requirements
Suva,Fiji -The Fiji Village -Feb 1, 2007: -- The Land Transport Authority believes that many buses are involved in major accidents because they are only able to meet the minimum LTA standards... This comes after two buses were involved in accidents of a similar nature, rolling off the road. In one incident, a woman lost her life... LTA Chief Executive, Abraham Simpson said while they ensure that all buses are checked thoroughly and are capable of servicing members of the public, the vehicles go through a lot of damage while on the roads, and this could be one of the reasons behind the accidents...Labels: dangerous buses
