* USA - School bus crash injures seven
Minneapolis,MN,USA -KARE -1 Feb 2007: -- Seven people were hurt when a school bus collided with a car Wednesday morning. The St. Francis school bus was rounding a corner when it hit the car. The accident happened in northern Andover at about 6:35 a.m. The bus rolled over and landed on top of the another vehicle... Authorities say the bus driver may have drifted into the other lane, tried to correct the turn, then hit the car and flipped on its side...

* India - Bus falls into gorge, killing 10
Jammu,India -AZ Central.com (AZ,USA)/AP -Feb. 2, 2007: -- A crowded bus veered off a steep mountain road and fell into a gorge in northern India on Friday, killing at least 10 people and injuring 17 others, police said... The bus was on its way from Seri to Naoshera - two small towns in the Rajouri district of India's Jammu-Kashmir state - when the accident occurred, said Farooq Khan, a senior superintendent of police... The driver lost control of the bus while negotiating a sharp curve and it plunged into the mountain gorge. Ten people died instantly, while villagers rescued at least 17 badly injured survivors, he said...
* Canada - Bus driver killed, 15 children injured in bus accident north of Montreal
Montreal,Quebec,CAN -The Gazette, by Sidhartha Banerjee/Canada.com -Feb 3, 2007: -- The driver was killed and about fifteen west-end Montreal kids were injured when a bus packed with nearly 40 young skiers crashed into a ditch in the Laurentians near Mont Tremblant resort Saturday morning... All the youngsters were students at the popular Montreal-area Rod Roy Ski School. At about 9:15 a.m., the bus went off the road on Highway 117 in St. Faustin du Lac Carré, about 130 kilometres north of Montreal... The Sûreté du Québec was at a loss to explain why the bus driver lost control of the vehicle...
