Islamabad,Pakistan -The Daily Times (Lahore,Pak) -28 Dec 2006: -- The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) on Thursday allowed sales tax zero rating on the import and local supply of dedicated CNG buses and all other buses meant for transportation of 40 or more passengers and purpose-built taxis... The CBR will charge zero percent sales tax on the import of above-mentioned vehicles meant for public transport purposes to facilitate the establishment of public transport companies in the private sector for a more efficient and environmentally-friendly transport services to the passengers...
