PRODUCTION * Iran - Khodro Diesel to establish truck production line in Senegal
Tehran,Iran -IRNA -10 Dec 2006: -- One of the future plans of Iran Khodro Diesel Company (IKDC) is to establish truck production line in Senegal, said deputy chief of the company in charge of export and international affairs on Sunday... He noted that his company has signed a contract for export of 200 buses to Ivory Coast of which 96 buses would be delivered in the current Iranian calendar year... Ebrahimi said that IKDC is to export 60 city buses to Sudan of which 10 buses have already been delivered... The official said that IKDC in an effort to enter European markets is to establish bus production lines in Ukraine, Belarus and Turkey... Ebrahimi added that IKDC has exported autos to Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen, Syria, and Saudi Arabia... He said that IKDC earned dlrs 30 million last year from export of cars and spare parts...
