BUSES' PURCHASE PROSPECTS
* Canada - Small buses are worth a try
Montreal,Quebec,Canada -The Montreal Gazette (subscription) -8 Dec 2006: -- ... The 90 bus rumbling down St. Jacques St. at midnight on a Monday is generally quite a bit emptier than it is at rush hour... Given all that, it's probably good news that the Montreal Transit Corp. is seriously considering buying mini-buses to service some of the quieter suburban routes and even some of the downtown routes at off hours. Smaller vehicles, with a capacity of 20 to 25 passengers, would certainly be adequate for many of the transit corporation's needs...
