Ottawa,Ont,Can -The Ottawa Citizen, by Bert Hill -Dec 07, 2006: -- Natural Resources Minister Gary Lunn was smiling Thursday as he took the wheel of the world’s first bus to operate with hydrogen — not gasoline or diesel fuel — powering its internal combustion engine... A flotilla of senators, aides, public servants and Ford Motor Co. executives took turns yesterday boarding the first 12-seater bus to join a Senate shuttle fleet previously exclusively powered by gasoline... Hydrogen offers huge opportunities to improve the environment because it is plentiful and about 10 per cent more efficent than gas, and produces no known threats to the environment...
