The horror that froze our focus onto the twisted, blackened metal of what used to be a bus, blown to smithereens along with its riders, may have kept us all from taking that image one step further…into that of a school bus... These are just a few thoughts to get a program started in your community to protect your children. My mother used to say to me, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” I couldn’t agree more, and with all the warnings we have received in the fairly recent past, we would be derelict if we did not take heed to that sage advice...
