The Transport Minister, John Watkins, said the technology would also allow buses to be fast-tracked through heavy traffic and given priority at major intersections... About 4000 private and government buses will be fitted with GPS tracking devices which will allow the Roads and Traffic Authority's traffic management centre to monitor punctuality and adjust traffic signals to give buses a faster passage...
