* Canada - City to lease 10 new buses
Peterborough,Ontario,Canada -Lindsay This Week, by Lance Anderson -26 Sept 2006: -- Ten used buses will be leased from a United States company to allow the City to continue with the next phase of its transit overhaul... At Committee of the Whole on Monday night, city council voted to allow the transit department to lease 10 40-foot MCI buses... But... "New buses are part of out transit study. We have enough to buy 10 to 11 buses outright. There's more than enough [money] in or capital budget for 2005," said Councillor Len Vass, chair of the City transit committee...
