Images captured by a Queensland Rail security camera reveal the moment when a 40-seater bus tries to outrun a freight train at a railway crossing... The bus driver ignored the flashing lights and dashed across the tracks as the boom gate closed. The bus was clipped by the gate but managed to escape the approaching freight train... Mahendranagar,Nepal -The Himalayan Times (Kathmandu,Nep)/THT Online -Oct 7, 2006: -- At least six persons were killed and 33 injured when a Mahendranagar-bound bus from Baitadi met with an accident at Khasrekhan along the Dashrath Chand Highway in Dadeldhura district on Saturday... The bus was overcrowded and it skidded off the road and fell at least 40 metres down from the road...

Santa Fe,ARG -FOX News (USA)/AP (Buenos Aires,ARG) -Oct 09, 2006 — A bus carrying high school students back from a charity mission collided head-on with a truck on a rural highway in Argentina, leaving at least 12 dead and 30 others injured, authorities said Monday... The accident occurred late Sunday as the students were returning to the capital from a trip to take donations to a rural school in an impoverished part of this American country...
