New Buses? - Canada - For Vancouver Communters?
VANCOUVER,BC,CAN -CKNW (AM980) -Sep, 19 2006: -- The waiting game continues for Lower Mainland commuters crowding onto older buses every morning... Translink was supposed to have 50 new compressed natural gas buses before September. Less than half --17-- are actually in service... There's word five more buses will be ready over the next few days and another eight have arrived in Port Coquitlam, but they need to be checked out before they can hit the road... The CNG's are replacing buses in service since 1987...
