* Sri Lanka - More buses to the public bus fleet
Colombo,Sri Lanka -ColomboPage News -Sept 15,2006: -- Sri Lankan Ministry of Transport in the hope of improving the public transport system in the country has ordered 2000 buses under an Indian credit line for the government owned passenger transport companies... Already 750 of the ordered buses have reached the country now and 500 of them have been added to the bus fleet of the government bus companies. The government hopes to distribute the rest of the buses with priority given to the remote areas...
